Moorea Watch

Equipped with Calibre Initial® movement, this Moorea steel model with a 3-row bracelet features a white opaline dial, highlighting sophistication and simplicity. This 2024 version with a diameter of 38.5mm has a more graphic design: the angles have more pronounced edges, the link has evolved with slightly readjusted proportions, and now has a very delicately chamfered definition. The distribution of brushed and polished surfaces is subtly revised to play better with the light. The lugs regain their iconic "ears" from 1984. The date window is back at 6 o'clock, in its elegant original placement.

A first for this 2024 model, the Moorea is powered by the Calibre Initial® , the latest movement designed by the Manufacture and developed and assembled in Morteau. This prestigious French movement with bidirectional winding offers a "weekend proof" power reserve of 65 hours. It features a semi-instantaneous date display driven by a patented complication. It meets the durability requirement desired by the House. All of its components are sourced within 80 km of the manufacture. And 72% of them are of French origin.

Launched in 1984 and true signature watch that has stood the test of time, the Moorea is being reinvented for its 40th anniversary in a new, more contemporary collection. Emile Pequignet himself named this watch after his thoroughbred Moorea, with which he won many competitions. A remarkable element of the Pequignet DNA, its distinctive grain is now recognized by all and elegantly withstands the test of time.

For your peace of mind, Pequignet watches are guaranteed for 3 or 5 years from the date of purchase: 5 years for models equipped with a Pequignet movement (Royale collection, Attitude, Extrême 300, Concorde) and 3 years for other automatic, manual or quartz models.

If you encounter a problem with your watch during the warranty period, you may count on our customer service and on our expert watchmakers to resolve the problem at no cost to you. This warranty applies to all the watches and covers all manufacturing defects in normal conditions of use. This warranty is effective only if the watch returned is accompanied by the warranty certificate, duly dated, signed and bearing the stamp of the retailer authorised to represent Pequignet. Each watch arriving at the Manufacture shall be the subject of an examination undertaken by our master watchmaker, in order to certify its condition.
